HouseHonest takes accuracy and rights seriously. This page explains how to request removal of content or post a verified response.

1. DMCA Copyright Notices

If you believe content on HouseHonest infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@realestatereview.example including:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • URL of the infringing content on HouseHonest.
  • Your contact info (name, address, phone, email).
  • A statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond within a reasonable time. False notices may result in liability.

2. Personal Information / Doxxing Removal

If a post contains your private contact info, home address (as a resident, not a public listing), photos of you or your family, or other PII you did not consent to share, email privacy@realestatereview.example with the URL and a description. We aim to act within 72 hours for verified PII removals.

3. Realtor Right of Reply

If you are a realtor reviewed on HouseHonest, you may:

  • Post a verified response. After we verify your license, your response appears alongside the review with a "Verified Realtor" badge.
  • Request correction of factually inaccurate claims. Provide documentation. We will review and update or remove as appropriate.

Email realtors@realestatereview.example with your license number, the listing/profile URL, and your response or correction request.

4. Defamation Claims

Claims of defamatory content require a specific statement, the URL, and an explanation of why it is false (not merely unfavorable). Opinions and accurate factual statements are protected. Send to legal@realestatereview.example.

5. Court Orders & Law Enforcement

We comply with valid legal process. Subpoenas and orders should be served on our designated agent.

6. What We Will Not Do

  • Remove honest negative reviews that comply with our Community Guidelines.
  • Remove content because it is unflattering, embarrassing, or bad for business.
  • Reveal the identity of reviewers absent valid legal process.
